Fallen on hard times and can no longer afford to live in our family home. The market value has fallen from about $390k just a few years ago to $340k now and we still owe $180k on the mortgage. Looking to swap with somebody willing to take over our mortgage payments for a place (townhouse, condo etc) that is already paid off and and has a value less than our house or somebody with a smaller mortgage payment.

The house is roughly 1500sq/ft with two full baths and three bedrooms. There is an attached garage and the parking lot is large enough fit 4 cars easily. There is also a fenced in back yard. There is carpet in the bedrooms but the rest of the house is pergo with tile laid in the bathrooms. House also has a brick fire place. Plenty more pictures are available upon request. Willing to entertain all reasonable offers.

Right now the monthly payments are $1600/mo including insurance and property tax. Again, looking for something already paid off or considerable smaller monthly mortgage payments. Also willing to listen to any locations in the lake/cook county area in Illinois.
